While signing into this site, a message came up titled "Message from webpage" and said that my computer has viruses that could harm it if I don't scan it. Then the webpage closed and it opened my hard drive and started scanning it... I freaked and closed it... Then JUST TO BE SAFE I opened Nortan and I'm running a scan as I type. Has this happend to anyone else?

I scanned my computer and nothing showed. Some one or something must have hacked the site????

it could be just a flaw with the computer that happened with mine on 2 other random sites that I went to all the time and never had viruses, and when I scanned no viruses so it might mean nothing

Yeah I cannot control the ads on this site 
but I can assure you that it wasn't a virus as I know what it is...it is just advertising for you to buy the software and it isn't actually opening your hardrive its just good look a likes.

oh I ran anti-virus scan I have something from advertising.com, but it says its a cookie

Signing up with Forumotion guarantees ads. Unfortunately, there is no possible way to remove them unless you pay to remove them. And why pay 20 bucks when the ads are only going to come back later.
It's how Forumotion makes it's money. It's disguised as a place to create your own forum, however, really it's just a project to get so many sites up with ad spaces so they can get a ton of money from it.

Yeah well I set it to only show ads to guests...so if you are seeing ads when you are logged in then please let me know.
